D-Day: The Allied Liberation of Europe

The D-Day CD-ROM was developed using materials from the extensive Editions Ouest archive specifically for the education and general interest markets.

It tells the full story of the D-Day invasion from the initial planning through to the Liberation of Paris. The original text is supplemented by hundeds of photographs, original maps and diagrams and tables. There is also almost an hour of video footage. Each text section being accompanied by between five and twelve different illustrative or explanatory media items.

Comprehensive search tools and a time-line help the user navigating the wealth of information.
