to use an iPIX image

experience by familiarizing yourself with this brief key.
When
using the
iPIX Plugin

When
you see the hand icon hold the left button on your mouse
and move the mouse around to move around the image.
When
you see the Magnyfiying Glass icon with a + sign it it hold
your left mouse button down to zoom in.
When
you see the Magnyfiying Glass icon with a - sign it it hold
your left mouse button down to zoom out.
Windows
users Java Plugin
The
first thing a Windows user will notice when inside a Java
iPIX image is that the cursor becomes a 4arrow icon. To
move inside the iPIX image, HOLD DOWN your left mouse button
and drag the 4arrow icon in the direction you wish to move.
The 4arrow icon drives the iPIX image slowly if held
near the center of the picture. The closer the 4arrow gets
to the edge of the picture, the faster the iPIX image moves.
The
2arrow icon, which allows you to zoom in and zoom out,
appears when the cursor is slightly above or slightly below
the center of the iPIX image. To zoom closer into the iPIX
image, HOLD DOWN your mouse button when the 2arrow icon
is slightly above the center of the iPIX image. To zoom
further out of the iPIX image, HOLD DOWN your mouse button
when the 2arrow icon is slightly below the center of the
iPIX image.
In the
plugin version the two arrow icon is shown as a magnifying
glass with a plus or minus on it for zooming in or out.
Macingtosh
Users
The
Closed Hand Icon. The first thing a Mac user will notice
when inside a Java iPIX image is that the cursor becomes
a closed hand icon. To move inside the iPIX image, HOLD
DOWN your left mouse button and drag the closed hand icon
in the direction you wish to move.
Hint:
The closed hand icon drives the iPIX image slowly if held
near the center of the picture. The closer the closed hand
gets to the edge of the picture, the faster the iPIX image
moves.
The
arrow icon, which allows you to zoom in and zoom out,
appears when the cursor is slightly above or slightly below
the center of the iPIX image. To zoom closer into the iPIX
image, HOLD DOWN your mouse button when the arrow icon is
slightly above the center of the iPIX image. To zoom further
out of the iPIX image, HOLD DOWN your mouse button when
the arrow icon is slightly below the center of the iPIX
image.
Keyboard
Navigation
If
a mouse isn't hooked up to your machine or you just prefer
keyboard navigation, don't fear. iPIX images are fully functional
with standard key strokes.
A crosshair
icon will appear in the center of the image when using the
arrow keys to move left, right, up, or down in an iPIX image.
To move quickly, HOLD DOWN the arrow key which points in
the direction you wish to move.
HINT:
To activate a link, such as a door or speaker, position
the crosshair icon over the desired link, then press ENTER.
To
zoom closer into the iPIX image, press the plus key. To
zoom further out of the iPIX image, press the minus key.
