we work
The following
project formula has been developed over the past 7 years to
suit both our clients and us. Wether you are after an e-mail
promotion or complete CDrom we follow the same metholodogy.
Free
Initial Meeting
Initial
meetings are free of charge. The purpose is to introduce you
to our company and methodology and to learn more about your
organisation. Sometimes clients have a particular requirement,
such as a web site or presentation for a particular purpose,
other times our clients are not absolutely sure of either
whet they want, or indeed what is available. Often clients
have an incomplete picture of what is achievable, or an inaccurate
feeling for what possible projects will cost or achieve. In
our initial meeting we look to understand your objectives,
outline possibilities, and provide you with ballpark figures
to achieve any project of interest.

As a result
of our initial meeting we will write to you to outline our
understanding of what is to be achieved, and further to our
discussions present a menu of possibilities, with ballpark
costings.
Consultancy
If you
decide to work with us we need to move forward to providing
you with detailed and comprehensive proposals for the projects
you are interested in.
Such proposals
vary from a simple brochure quotation to a full-blown 3-year
media strategy. We may need to analyse your business practices,
markets, information systems and available human resources
in some detail. We often require a more comprehensive management
workshop to clearly set objectives and identify targets to
be met.
With the
exception of simple component quotations the preparation of
detailed proposals or strategy reports is consultancy, and
is chargeable.
At the
end of the consultancy process you will have clear and accurate
documentation against which you can order further action.
Why
do we charge for consultancy when other firms offer it free
?
Most firms
make their money from the production of a project. Whilst
we have an extremely creative and competent production team
the real value of our service is our experience and business
knowledge. We have been deploying digital media solutions
since 1995, and we have a wealth of experience across many
industries of what has worked, and what has not.
Clients
do not usually come to us just for a web site, or a presentation,
or a brochure, but for results!
Sometimes
we advise clients to deploy their budget in ways our client
did not expect. Other times we have advised organisations
not to spend their money on digital media projects but to
use alternative media to greater effect. We are not focused
on getting a production project from you, but rather on presenting
you with the best advice.
Such independent
and informed advice comes at a price. However, money invested
in consultancy not only improves results but often also massively
reduces production costs over time. Time invested in planning
what to do can be as important to the success of the project
as deploying the eventual solution agreed.
We are
also well know for delivering economies within organisations
as part of data restructuring, and in some situations the
economies gained more than cover the cost of the project.
One thing
is for sure, if your focus is deploying a project for minimum
short term cost, we are not the solution for you. However

A central
strategy
Whilst
we are happy to be commissioned on particular projects we
do like to work with our clients, however small their budget,
in attaining a central marketing strategy. If not already
implemented this involves creating an identifiable look and
feel for the company (or brand), and where possible a central
set of core messages, imagery, templates, animations, video
and copy to drive all media projects. Not only does this impact
favourably on results, but it also drives down the cost of
deploying projects in the future, meaning you get more media
mileage form your money! It also has the added benefit of
empowering your staff with a considered and drafted media
library and set of document templates.
This is
usually handled in our consultancy phase. Time and money invested
in the early stages to assess and set strategy, create a definitive
corporate style and plan your media campaign in some detail
can have a huge impact on the results attained.
